Welcome to Miss Leng's Year 9 English class blog. We have spent most of the year studying writing techniques, read a range of articles on Opinion Writing, read Of Mice and Men, Romeo & Juliet and a range of modern poetry and honed in on your literary response skills and will now embark on the study of an Edwardian play An Inspector Calls. We will next be studying An Inspector Calls in depth, and will be preparing for the end of year examinations in late May. I hope you have enjoyed Year 9 English and have found this year to be a good foundation for your IGCSE studies next.
